The Creative County Committee approved funding for the following projects for the 2025 program year:

• $10,000 to the VON Ontario Student Nutrition Program towards Lambton Cultural Food Days to celebrate cultural diversity.
• $7,500 to the Moore Agricultural Society towards the175 Years of Growth project, supporting events focusing on tradition, diversity, culture and community.
• $5,000 to BoWaine Ma to support the pilot project A Photographic Memory of Surf and Skate Culture in Lambton County.
• $3,500 to Pathways Health Centre for Children for the theatre production Expressive Arts 2025.
• $2,500 to the Optimist Club of Grand Bend & District to support Beachfest, a community celebration.
• $2,500 to Kip Cuthbert for the creation of the book Maud Hanna and Canatara Park.
• $4,000 to Theatre Sarnia to support indigenous cultural programming, including performances, storytelling, and art.
• $1,000 to Sir John Moore Community School for the Winter Book Club initiative.
• $5,000 to the nuSarnia Foundation towards the Pedal Through the Past: Sarnia Heritage Tour.
• $1,500 to the Sarnia Concert Association for their community outreach initiatives to support a more diverse audience.
• $5,000 to 234 Front St. North Inc., for a public art mural to be installed at 216 Front Street North, Sarnia.
• $5,000 to the Kiwanis Club of Forest for a commemorative sign to support the Whyte Park Centennial Celebration initiative.
• $750 to the Kiwanis Club of Petrolia in support of enhancements to the Fiery Faces Halloween Program.
• $8,000 to the Village of Oil Springs to support the Village’s 160th Anniversary Celebrations in 2025.
• $775 to the Petrolia Discovery Foundation for interpretive signage to compliment guided and self-guided tours of the Petrolia Discovery site.
• $1,500 to the Town of Petrolia, for the Petrolia Veteran Lawn Recognition initiative.
• $3,000 to the Inwood 150th Celebration Committee to support the Inwood 150 Music Festival.
• $1,500 to Heritage St. Clair for Discover the Heritage of St. Clair Township, an activity booklet based on the history and heritage of St. Clair Township.

• $2,500 to Huron Shores Area Transit to support the engagement of Indigenous artists for a bus shelter art project at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation
• $2,000 to Inwood 150th Celebration Committee to support the publication of a commemorative book
• $6,045 to Oil Museum of Canada Foundation to support the installation of new historical interpretive signs, an audio tour and historical flags throughout the Village of Oil Springs

• $2,500 for the Centre Communautaire Francophone de Sarnia-Lambton for the production of Franco Ontarian Cultural Videos.

The Creative County Committee approved 21 projects for the 2020 program year, representing an investment of $71,880 in funding. These projects include:

• $3,000 to Lambton County's Plowmen's Association to support the Plowing Match 100th Anniversary.
• $700 to Lambton Concert Band for a retrospective look at the history of concert bands in Lambton County.
• $4,500 to Daytripping Magazine for the production of a mural commemorating the work of local artist Barbara Perrin.
• $2,350 for 'Me, You, & Us', an art workshop focused on youth, followed by a celebration of publicly exhibited portraits.
• $3,125 to Jazz and Blues in the Village for a free, Saturday afternoon matinee aimed at getting the community together for a family-focused afternoon of local music.
• $6,875 to Phil Egan for the production of the historical publication 'Keeping the Peace: 160 Years of Policing the Imperial City'.
• $3,750 to the Optimist Club of Forest for the Junior Lambton Film & Food Festival Camp, an annual summer food camp at the Optimist Hall in Forest open to local youth ages 13 to 19 and taught by local chefs, using local farms, and preparing local dishes.
• $4,000 to The Friends of Pinery Park for 'Art in The Park', a program providing visitors the opportunity to explore the relationship between art and nature.
• $2,000 to the Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society for the implementation of historical murals throughout the municipality.
• $750 to the West Coast Lions Club of Grand Bend for Wednesdays' Familiar Favourites - Grand Bend beach concerts.
• $1,400 for the Lambton Memorial Fiddle Contest.
• $7,850 to the Petrolia Discovery Foundation for renewed displays, way-finding and interpretive signage and new lighting and audio equipment at the Petrolia Discovery.

• $15,000 to Electric Motion Pictures for the local production of 'The Ace and the Scout', a historical film documenting stories related to Canada's involvement in the First World War.
• $5,200 for 'The Young Canuckstorian Project', engaging 7 young writers in the development and illustration of a graphic novel tracing the history of Lambton County.
• $5,000 to the Margaret Stokes IODE to support the Petrolia Victoria Porch Luncheon and walking tour event.
• $1,500 to the West Coast Lions Club of Grand Bend for Wednesdays' Familiar Favourites - Grand Bend beach concerts.

• $15,000 to Sarnia-Lambton Rebound to support the music therapy program Rebound Rocks, which is designed to engage youth ages 16 - 20.
• $1,000 to the Port Franks and Area Camera Club to host open houses and coordinate guest speakers as part of the Grand Bend Arts Festival, in addition to hosting photography workshops for adults and children.
• $6,000 to YMCAs of Southwestern Ontario for the Newcomer and First Nations Youth Cultural Exchange, a series of six events offering First Nation and Newcomer youth the opportunity to learn from each other, share their cultures, and develop leadership skills.
• $1,000 to the City of Sarnia for the summer entertainment series Get out of the Garage, which invites four youth bands/musicians to showcase their talent on the Centennial Park stage.
• $17,000 to the Town of Petrolia for Victoria Playhouse Petrolia's joint cultural investment initiative with the County, which seeks to promote the VPP more broadly to a growing patron base and work with the County to cross promote other regional cultural attractions and assets.
• $10,000 to Sarnia Artwalk for the Local Artist Showcase, supporting the acquisition of two canopy tents for the 2018 edition of the event for use by local artists for art sales, demonstrations and workshops.
• $1,500 to the Grand Bend Art Centre for Paint Ontario Artist Call, designed to increase the number of art entries to the 2018 Paint Ontario art show and sale by deploying a targeted digital marketing campaign to Lambton County and Ontario landscape and portrait artists.
• $2,700 to support the Alvinston Arts and Music Fest event.
• $5,000 to Creative Connections with Jan, for a weekly art program at Kinwood Public and Kettle Point-Hillcrest elementary schools.
• $3,000 to Huron Shores United Church for the Performing Arts Programming Pilot Project, to develop, market, and launch a live performance in the newly created concert hall of the church in Grand Bend.
• $2,000 to the Municipality of Brooke-Alvinston for a stairwell mural at the municipality's office and entrance to the arts and activity space.
• $3,500 for production of the Klondyke Marsh History commemorative book.
• $9,500 for Focus on Ability, a horticultural-based visual arts program.
• $1,800 to support the creation of an intergenerational community choir that performs at Lambton Meadowview Villa.
• $6,250 to the Watford Legion to commission a local artist to paint a 20 foot historical mural on the Legion's façade.
• $2,000 to Lambton Shores Nature Trails for log structure panels at the Forest Walkway Trailhead and the Port Franks Heritage Forest trailhead.
• $9,450 for material and program costs for the Me, You & Us painting classes coordinated in partnership with Kettle & Stony Point First Nation and the Ausable Optimist Club.

• $10,000 to the Moore Agricultural Society for the Celebrating Rural Life - Past Present and Future project.
• $10,000 to the Town of Petrolia to provide enhancements and support to the Ontario Contact 2017 conference for the performing arts, to be held in Petrolia in November 2017.
• $15,000 to the South Western International Film Festival (SWIFF), a four day international arts & culture festival that aims to foster aspiring, local creators of culture and support public engagement and appreciation of the arts.
• $15,000 to Sarnia-Lambton Rebound for Act II, a youth-led engaged theatre program.
• $1,000 for Our Homemade Land, a six week complimentary crochet class for immigrant women.
• $2,500 to the 1st Hussars Cavalry Fund for the placement of a military light armoured vehicle at Sarnia's Veterans Park in memory of soldiers who served and died in Afghanistan.
• $2,400 to the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts for the House Concert Series, consisting of up to three concerts per month featuring performers from Lambton County.
• $3,000 for Wednesdays' Familiar Favourites, a summer concert series on the Rotary Stage at Grand Bend Beach.
• $3,000 to the Arts Council of East Lambton for the Creative Road Show (Phase 2), promoting rural art events and activities at First Fridays and bringing creative art events to rural venues in Lambton County.
• $1,300 to the Optimist Club of Ausable Port Franks for a Youth Summer Art Camp for youth ages 8 to 14.
• $3,500 for The MacKinlays which provides live music across Lambton County for foundation and community events.
• $4,750 for Petrolia's Victorian Porch Luncheon, which encourages visitors to visit Petrolia and enjoy the Town's Victorian heritage.
• $15,000 to the Township of Dawn-Euphemia for the Celebrate Canada 150 Legacy Project, a barn quilt trail featuring a collection of up to 30 painted barn quilts, installed on barns and structures along Oil Heritage Road/Irish School Road in the Hamlet of Rutherford.
• $3,500 to the Moore Museum for Outdoor Art Creating Awareness of Community Heritage, a project that includes the creation of an outdoor mural to enhance the Moore Museum's main building.
• $750 to the Sombra Township Museum for the design and installation of a bronze plaque detailing the historical facts of the Sombra community dock.
• $1,300 to the Township of St. Clair for the Heritage Book Series, published and distributed free of charge to local schools, libraries and the Lambton County Archives.
• $5,000 to Three Fires Tipi, a project presenting the local history of the First Nations in Lambton County to local schools, including a presentation on the FN Longhouse and Tipi.

• $5,000 to the Lambton Film & Food Festival (LaFFF) for the addition of a concert series and to broaden the scope of the Lambton Youth Short Film competition, including workshops from instructors at the Toronto International Film Festival.
• $1,500 for Art Under Glass Lambton, a two-day event showcasing the talents of painters, potters, wood-turners, photographers, fabric artists, jewelers, and 3D artists from across Lambton County.
• $8,000 to the International Symphony Orchestra for Random Acts of Culture, presenting a wide variety of unexpected performance activities in public places with heavy pedestrian traffic for the enjoyment of the general population.
• $7,000 to Sarnia Artwalk for the "Local Beats Showcase" an offering of 100% local artists on the music stage at the 2016 edition of Artwalk.
• $1,000 to visual artist Jane Austin for a video art show exploring the unique beauty of the jerker line system of local oil heritage properties.
• $7,000 to the Rotary Club of Grand Bend to celebrate the Grand Opening of its stage on the main beach at Grand Bend with a two day concert featuring local, regional, and national artists.
• $1,250 to the Optimist Club of Ausable Port Franks for enhancements to the Summer Arts and Nature Youth Camp.
• $3,000 to the Arts Council of East Lambton for the Creative Road Show which will host free art activities in rural communities including Arkona, Forest, and Thedford.
• $2,100 to the Forest Lambton Museum Society for the mounting of historic street scape pictures in Forest, Thedford, and Arkona.
• $2,000 to Grand Bend Writers on the Beach for a writers' workshop weekend.
• $10,000 for Petrolia 150, a project commemorating and celebrating the triple sesquicentennial of the Incorporation of the Village of Petrolia, the striking of the King Well, and the opening of the Petrolia Branch of the Great Western Railway.
• $5,000 to the YMCAs of Southwestern Ontario for Multicultural Creative Connections in our Community, a series of five events where newcomer children will be given the opportunity to share their cultures and traditions with other children in the community; express their emotions towards their new life in Canada through art, music or literature; and learn about Canadian culture through art, music, and literature.
• $4,180 to the Sarnia Heritage Committee for Sarnia Heritage Passport 2017 which will include artistic renderings of 12 key properties to be assembled and bound in passport format and made available for use during Canada 150 celebrations.
• $820 for a pop up gallery show promoting local artists as well as a mural painted on the windows of 100 Christina Street.
• $800 for a series of classes on the historical and cultural significance of tipis.

• $4,500 to Storyboard Cultural Community Endeavours for the Festival of Good Things, a two-day celebration of the "good work and people" of Lambton County that includes: a handmade market, wakeboarding championships, music, and a kid's zone.
• $16,000 to the Organization for Literacy in Lambton for a Mosaic Project depicting, through artistic and literary contributions, what residents love most about their Lambton County communities. The project will celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.
• $3,000 to the Ausable Port Franks Optimist Club for the Heritage Arts for Youth Club, a bi-weekly camp exploring the rich cultural history of Lambton Shores, Plympton-Wyoming and Warwick.
• $3,500 to the Lake Smith Conservationists for the Lake Smith Heritage Project, which will include the production of a mobile app for smart devices that builds upon the existing Lake Smith paper-based driving tour and increases the geographical area covered. A commemorative plaque recognizing the 60th anniversary of the draining of Lake Smith in 1955 will also be produced.
• $3,500 to the Grand Bend and Area Studio Tour to rebuild a website, generate a new mobile platform, and integrate social media for "The Stars Come Out", an open art and cultural festival that embraces food, music, and the arts in Grand Bend.
• $3,000 to the Oil Springs Arts Festival, a first-time event showcasing multiple forms of artistic activities including visual, musical, theatrical, and dance.
• $3,500 to the Petrolia Volunteer Business Group for "Picture Yourself in Petrolia", an event featuring live entertainment and arts performances which will also endeavour to achieve a new Guinness World Record for the "largest 'selfie' photograph."
• $2,400 to the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts for the "House Concert Series", a series of two Friday night concerts per month featuring performances in a wide variety of genres in an intimate and welcoming setting.
• $1,500 to the Moore Museum for "Creatively Exploring Heritage", a series of heritage-based art workshops for adults including basket-weaving and painting, utilizing built heritage and artifacts of the Moore Museum for inspiration.
• $10,000 to the Brooke-Alvinston Community Group for the "Brooke-Alvinston Museum and Art Centre" which seeks to stimulate interest in local heritage/history, preserve, exhibit and/or publish historical documents and artifacts, and establish a museum.
• $19,500 to the South Western International Film Festival, held in Sarnia, which offers films, Screenwriter's workshops, Producer's workshop and an Actor's Master Class by some of Canada's top artists.
• $3,200 to the Lambton County Oral History Project, providing first-person audio and written accounts of everyday life in Lambton County, to be featured on the Lambton County GIS cultural mapping site.
• $3,880 to the Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society to enhance its Early Settlers and Post WWII Immigration exhibits.
• $2,000 to Heritage St. Clair for a plaque project, recognizing the "Rebellion of 1837-38" in which raiding parties landed in the Port Lambton and Sombra areas, attempting to oust British rule and make Canada into a Republic.

• $5,000 to Return the Landscape for a 50-page, children's activity book based on the "Habitats of Lambton County".
• $3,500 for "Our History - Our Heroes" a Polish War Veterans Exhibit honouring the Polish veterans who settled in Lambton County and celebrating their military achievements.
• $10,000 to Grand Bend and Area Studio Tour, a 10 week series of concerts on the Grand Bend Beach, Sunday Nights in July and August and the evenings of Holiday Mondays.
• $1,000 to the Rotary Club of Grand Bend for Earth Rises: How to Live on a Changing Planet, a community forum on climate change.
• $4,500 to the Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society for the opening of a museum.
• $4,500 for Social Art Day, an event in downtown Watford showcasing local artistic talents including music and dance, visual art, and heritage and archives displays.
• $1,750 to the Petrolia Heritage Committee for the installation of interpretive signage at the historic Petrolia Water Works Standpipe water tower.
• $3,600 to Artwalk Sarnia-Lambton to hire street performers and support the increased printing and distribution of the First Friday publication.
• $4,550 to the Sarnia Heritage Committee to promote the architectural and cultural heritage of the downtown Sarnia core.
• $2,000 to Gallery in the Grove for a three-day outdoor art workshop for students ages 11 to 13.
• $3,600 to Mooreart for Mrs. Hanna's Cats - an art project for children.
• $4,300 to the Sombra Township Museum for the development of an outdoor mural depicting the life and service of the WWII minesweeper Q105.
• $5,300 for Ignite Lambton, a series of fast-paced speaking events throughout Lambton County. The project also includes the printing of a double-book by two local authors telling the story of oil in Lambton and commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Village of Oil Springs.
• $5,000 to St. Clair Heritage to help recognize the work of Dr. Maude Menton (1879 - 1960) and Baby Point with a plaque at Brander Park, just south of Port Lambton. St. Clair Heritage will also publish a book featuring St. Clair Township's First World War veterans.
• $5,000 to the Kiwanis Club of Forest for a local film and food festival, to include a short film youth competition in 2015.
• $10,000 to the Oil Springs 150th Anniversary Committee for an Anniversary celebration Saturday, July 18, 2015.
• $10,000 to the WITS Literary Tour, a County-wide initiative encouraging more people to become involved in the literary arts.
• $3,000 to the Lambton Young Theatre Players for the touring production of Clever Thomas and The Pirate Queen, involving 24 young actors and actresses between the ages of 10 and 18, working under the direction of theatre professionals.

• $3,125 to the Bluewater Sustainability Initiative Gen Y Committee for "Kickin' It Forward", an outdoor sustainable movie festival series to be held throughout the County;
• $3,000 to Storyboard Cultural Community Endeavours for the "Festival of Good Things", celebrating the people of Lambton County and their work;
• $5,000 to the Kiwanis Club of Forest for a Film & Food Festival;
• $1,500 for a railway history exhibit room at the Moore Museum;
• $2,000 for a virtual exhibition at the Oil Museum of Canada highlighting the efforts of expert oil drillers from Lambton County;.
• $3,500 for a Food Day Canada event at Forest Glen Herb Farm;
• $2,500 for Amity Beach to help fund production costs for the Grand Bend-area band's CD;
• $2,700 to help fund Buskerfest, a two day live entertainment festival along the Grand Bend beach and strip commercial area;
• $1,300 to Aquafest, an arts-infused water oriented festival celebrating the beauty of Lake Huron;
• $2,000 to the Lambton County Food Coalition to support the 30 day Local Food Challenge;.
• $1,000 to help revitalize the Sarnia-Lambton Arts Council;
• $10,000 to One Tomato, a farm-to-classroom program teaching Grade 7 students about healthy eating and local foods through hands-on cooking sessions and 'Meet the Farmer' days;
• $1,250 to the Bluewater Chamber Choir for its workshop entitled "Healthy Singing for All Ages";
• $5,000 to fund the production of "Case 666", a book about Elizabeth Workman, the only woman ever convicted and executed under Canadian law after a trial where the jury strongly recommended mercy.
