Accessibility
The Corporation of the County of Lambton is committed to providing accessible, quality information, goods, and services in a manner that promotes everyone's dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity. To do this, the County follows the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its internal accessibility plans and policies. If any member of the public is unable to access County information, goods, or services because of an accessibility challenge, please contact the County using the information below.
Accessibility Advisory Committee
The County has an Accessibility Advisory Committee that works to promote inclusiveness by identifying potential barriers to accessibility in County buildings, programming, goods, and services. The Committee assists in the creation and implementation of the County's Accessibility Plan.
Accessibility Plan
The County of Lambton's Accessibility Plan was developed in partnership with its Accessibility Advisory Committee. The Plan outlines the County's accessibility commitment and describes the strategy by which the County will identify, remove, and prevent accessibility barriers in its buildings, programming, goods, and services. Copies of the plan are also available, upon request, in large print.
Accessibility Finder
The County of Lambton's Accessibility Finder provides map-based listings of County properties and lists the accessibility features of each.
